We take Covid-19 very seriously.
In cooperation with the Arizona Department of Health, the Gila County Health Department, and MHA Foundation, Ponderosa Family Care is offering covid testing at your vehicle—including Rapid Antigen Testing or through PCR, and is providing covid vaccines at your vehicle.

In addition to providing covid testing and covid vaccines to best protect you and your family, Ponderosa Family Care is also:
- Offering home visit care and drive through care in addition to in clinic care to provide high-quality patient care and reduce the risk of covid-19 transmission.
- Ensuring staff is well-trained on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following CDC guidelines—it is still recommended that masks be worn.
- Screening all patients for fever and symptoms of covid while entering the clinic.
- Screening all staff for fever and symptoms of covid, restricting them from work when sick or post exposure, and to safely allow return to work after an exposure and/or suspected or confirmed covid-19 infection.
Vaccination Information
Covid-19 vaccinations play a critical role in not only protecting ourselves but also our families and the community at large. We currently offer the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines to anyone 18 years of age or older and especially those with pre-existing conditions. The Moderna vaccine is a 2 dose series separated by 28 days and the Johnson & Johnson only requires one dose. Scheduling takes place via our Healow application.
